THOUGHTS ON WRITING

To blog or not to blog?  That is the question.  Whether it is nobler to keep your thoughts to yourself or to share them with the world with reckless abandonment?   I've been wrestling with those thoughts lately.  For the last few years I have been writing on a daily basis, usually devoting three or four hours, but all that time has been devoted to my books...

Until now!

If the united youth on Facebook, Twitter, and blogs like this, were responsible for the regime change in Egypt, I can't help but wonder if it's possible for us to do the same in the United States.  Certainly, when you consider what's transpired over the last decade, most particularly now, where events appear to be compounding exponentially, something has to change.  We can't continue down this road of madness.  It's unsustainable.  There is too much negativity.  To many thoughts on the airways that are perpetuating and fanning the flames of hatred, bigotry and greed.

I'm convinced, the only way we are going to achieve the desired change is with thoughts, words and actions that are laced with positivity, love and compassion.  The change has to begin here on this blog, your blog and everyone else's blog.   Let's fill the cosmic universe with peace and happiness and the unwavering belief we can all live together as one.  Then sit back and watch the magic happen.

And if you are debating on whether to blog or not to blog, try embracing this thought...

"Be the change you want to see in the world." Gandhi

Then sit down and write your blog.
